Hosted by the Center for Restorative Justice and Peacemaking at the University of Minnesota Duluth
Restorative Conference Facilitation Training is for aspiring facilitators working with either community-based or government agencies offering restorative dialogue services. Along with a solid introduction to restorative justice, interactive learning and role playing allows participants to learn and practice how to facilitate basic diversion or court-referred cases involving both youth and adult offenders, victimized parties, family members, and support people. Emphasis is on good preparation, and how in joint meetings the facilitators learn to get out of the way of empowered, heart-felt, party-to-party conversation.
Registration is limited to 20; the last day to register is May 31, 2025.
Cost: $400 (standard) / $200 (student/low income); contact us for a 10% group discount rate if you are registering 4 or more participants.
