Hosted by Restorative Houston
Restorative Houston is offering an Elder Story Circle Series, a series of weekly community building Circles in May to commemorate Older Americans Month (OAM), which is defined by the Administration for Community Living as “a time to recognize older Americans’ contributions, highlight aging trends, and reaffirm commitments to serving the older adults in our communities.” Social connectedness is an important contributor to positive mental and physical health outcomes, especially for vulnerable communities such as our seniors, who are often marginalized or infantilized because of their age.
This series is meant to provide a space of connection for 10-15 elders, age 60+.
***You do NOT need to be American to attend** We welcome people from all over the world.
