The National Association of Community and Restorative Justice (NACRJ) is actively seeking applications for its Board of Directors. NACRJ is committed to establishing a Board of Directors that is reflective of the diverse communities we serve throughout the country. Our organization’s mission is to advance community and restorative justice as a social movement by serving people and organizations committed to building community and addressing harm. NACRJ provides guidance and support to establish high quality practices with fidelity to restorative principles.
Our board members champion the importance of exceptional board leadership and believe that every organization needs a strong and effective board to fully realize its potential for good. Therefore, we are seeking individuals who are energetic and passionate about advancing the field of community and restorative justice.

In addition to the standard roles and responsibilities of a board member, our board members are active advocates and ambassadors for the organization and are fully engaged in identifying and securing the financial resources and partnerships necessary for NACRJ to advance its mission. Applications are due September 30, 2024. Each application is held in confidence and will be reviewed by the nominating committee. All applicants will receive correspondence regarding the status of board nominations following the review of all applications.
The NACRJ Board of Directors reserves the right to extend the application deadline if necessary.
