Dr. Cirioni serves as the Dean of Student Development at Germanna Community College in Fredericksburg, VA. Dr. Cirioni has 17 years of experience in Student Affairs and expertise in student conduct, Title IX, restorative justice, and social justice education. Dr. Cirioni holds a BFA in Visual Arts Education from the New York Institute of Technology, an MA in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University, and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from California State University, Long Beach. Dr. Cirioni’s dissertation, “Needing More to Restore: A Case Study on Utilizing a Restorative Justice Curriculum to Address Campus Sexual Misconduct Cases in U.S. Higher Education,” was published in 2021.

Dr. Cirioni serves as a restorative justice trainer for the University of San Diego’s Center for Restorative Justice and previous clients include the University of Oregon, Colorado Community College System, University of Notre Dame, the ACPA, and Gallaudet University. He is also the founder of Restorative Justice Consulting LLC and an active member of the National Association of Community and Restorative Justice.
