About
My name is Dr. Tamera Jenkins, and I am a 2009 Park University Alumni with a B.A. in Criminal Justice/Corrections. I received a US/Canada Fulbright Fellowship in 2010-2011, and took it to Vancouver, British Columbia Canada where I received a M.A in Criminology from Simon Fraser University. In 2018, I received a PhD in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Griffith University in Brisbane, Australia. I most recently worked for the Missouri Department of Corrections, Division of Probation and Parole in Kansas City, Missouri. I am interested in Restorative Justice processes and have completed Peacemaking Circle Training with Kay Pranis, the Inside/Out Prison Exchange Program International Instructor Training Institute through Temple University and Interpersonal Conflict Resolution and Mediation Skills Training through The Center for Conflict Resolution and Mediation (CCR) in Kansas City, MO. I am a co-host of the Podcast Criminal JustUs and a faculty advisor of the honor society Pi Gamma Mu MO MU Chapter at Park University.
