CCRJP's Restorative & Racial Justice (RJ2) Event: Restoring The Soil with MiDian Shofner
Community and restorative justice continues to grow and expand across the U.S. and world. With that growth comes increased opportunities for trainings, conferences, and events to deepen one’s relationship with these practices. In our commitment to continual learning, practice, and facilitating connections, we offer this calendar as a go to place to share and find community and restorative justice events.
Please note: This calendar is intended to serve as a resource, and entries do not constitute an endorsement by NACRJ. We encourage individuals to independently evaluate the suitability of each event for their specific needs and preferences.

Wednesday, November 12, 2025 (9:00 AM - 12:00 PM) (MST)
Description
Hosted by Colorado Coalition for Restorative Justice Practices (CCRJP)
Restoring the Soil: Moving from Intention to Implementation with MiDIan Shofner from Epitome of Black Excellence & Partnership.
True equity requires more than awareness, it demands cultivation. This immersive session invites participants to dig beneath the surface of good intentions to confront what has hardened the ground between us. In this space, you will explore how restoration begins when equity becomes practice, relationships become the work, and communities become the harvest. This is about planting new seeds of change AND tending the soil of what has already been sown, so that trust, justice, and belonging can finally take root.
