Harm Systems Design: Non-Punitive Approaches from Organizing to HR Hosted by Spring Up Collective

Community and restorative justice continues to grow and expand across the U.S. and world. With that growth comes increased opportunities for trainings, conferences, and events to deepen one’s relationship with these practices. In our commitment to continual learning, practice, and facilitating connections, we offer this calendar as a go to place to share and find community and restorative justice events.

Please note: This calendar is intended to serve as a resource, and entries do not constitute an endorsement by NACRJ. We encourage individuals to independently evaluate the suitability of each event for their specific needs and preferences.

Harm Systems Design: Non-Punitive Approaches from Organizing to HR Hosted by Spring Up Collective

Friday, November 14, 2025 (10:30 AM - 4:30 PM) (CST)

Description

Hosted by Spring Up Collective

Harm Systems Design -  fully virtual daylong retreat.

Harm is pervasive in communities and institutions. How an organization responds to the harm is its accountability in action. Join the Spring Up Collective and peer practitioners in learning from our organizational accountability wheel.  The daylong retreat is great for organizational leaders, people from Human Resources or community accountability teams or entrepreneurs thinking about how to create systems in their endeavors. Through an examination of Organizational Accountability, what harm looks like in the participants’ context, and consideration of the legal liability requirements of organizations, participants will leave with examples and inspirations of how they can respond to harm given their unique context.
