Restorative Practices - 3 Day Intensive

Community and restorative justice continues to grow and expand across the U.S. and world. With that growth comes increased opportunities for trainings, conferences, and events to deepen one’s relationship with these practices. In our commitment to continual learning, practice, and facilitating connections, we offer this calendar as a go to place to share and find community and restorative justice events.

To submit an event, please click the "+" button to the right. Please allow 2-3 days for your submission to appear on the calendar. You will be notified by email when your event is posted.

Restorative Practices - 3 Day Intensive

Wednesday, November 1, 2023 8:00 AM - Friday, November 3, 2023 3:30 PM (CDT)

National Center for Restorative Justice

This section creates the foundational philosophy for Restorative Justice. We focus on understanding the principles of RJ and applying the principles of RJ to the classroom. Beginning with the classroom/community building Circles this simple practice is essential to building a strong and inclusive community. We will continue to develop skills and strategies to address harm and conflict. These strategies include accountability circles, group author conferences, and restorative conferences. We will explore the role of authors, victims, support persons, community members, and facilitators. All the while thinking about how to maximize the priorities of RJ in any "conference."
