Stories of Migration & Music with Motus Theater & The Boulder Phil String Quartet
Community and restorative justice continues to grow and expand across the U.S. and world. With that growth comes increased opportunities for trainings, conferences, and events to deepen one’s relationship with these practices. In our commitment to continual learning, practice, and facilitating connections, we offer this calendar as a go to place to share and find community and restorative justice events.
Please note: This calendar is intended to serve as a resource, and entries do not constitute an endorsement by NACRJ. We encourage individuals to independently evaluate the suitability of each event for their specific needs and preferences.

Stories of Migration & Music with Motus Theater & The Boulder Phil String Quartet
Thursday, October 15, 2026 (7:00 PM - 9:00 PM) (MDT)
Description
Hosted by Motus Theatre
A remarkable performance featuring Motus monologists Perla Romero, Alejandro Fuentes Mena & Cristian Solano-Córdova, violinist Anthony Salvo and the Boulder Phil's String Quartet.
In this special collaboration, Motus Monologists with Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) perform artfully crafted personal stories of immigration accompanied by violin underscore, interspersed by musical responses curated by Boulder Phil Director of Education and pianist Fernanda Nieto. Regardless of your ideas about immigration policy, come together for an evening of beautiful and profound monologues, music and community, as we get to know more about our immigrant neighbors.
This program is made possible by the Broomfield Auditorium’s artist-in-residence program. RSVP Here!
