Restorative Practices: Preparing for Conflict & Conflict Transformation hosted by Center for Restorative Practices
Community and restorative justice continues to grow and expand across the U.S. and world. With that growth comes increased opportunities for trainings, conferences, and events to deepen one’s relationship with these practices. In our commitment to continual learning, practice, and facilitating connections, we offer this calendar as a go to place to share and find community and restorative justice events.
Please note: This calendar is intended to serve as a resource, and entries do not constitute an endorsement by NACRJ. We encourage individuals to independently evaluate the suitability of each event for their specific needs and preferences.

Restorative Practices: Preparing for Conflict & Conflict Transformation hosted by Center for Restorative Practices
Tuesday, April 22, 2025 (10:00 AM - 12:00 PM) (EDT)
Description
Hosted by Center for Restorative Practices
Conflict is a natural part of our professional lives, but it doesn’t have to be destructive. Join our workshop to explore how conflict can be a catalyst for positive transformation. We’ll delve into why our brains are hardwired to fear conflict and how, with intention and practice, we can rewire our responses to handle it constructively.
Through observing real-time restorative conflict responses, you’ll see firsthand how to override instinctive reactions and cultivate new, healthier patterns. Engage in reflective activities like debriefing in pairs, plenary discussions, free-writing, and journaling to deepen your understanding and begin your journey toward a restorative conflict mindset.
This workshop is your opportunity to reframe how you think about conflict and equip yourself with tools to navigate it more effectively.
