The University of Michigan's Office of Student Conflict Resolution is hiring a Program Manager for Sexual and Gender-Based Misconduct Response.
Position summary: At the Office of Student Conflict Resolution, we believe every member of our campus community deserves to learn and grow free from sexual abuse, harm, and the fear of violence. Our mission is to Build Trust, Promote Justice, and Teach Peace, and we know that preventing harm before it occurs is just as important as responding after it happens. This position exists because sexual abuse is preventable, not inevitable.
As the Program Manager for Sexual and Gender-Based Misconduct Response, you will help create a safer community by:
- Preventing future harm through education, skill-building, and healthy relationship development
- Reducing recidivism by engaging with those who have caused harm, holding them accountable, and supporting change
- Strengthening community safety by building partnerships, promoting dialogue, and leading restorative processes
With the right interventions, support, and accountability, individuals and communities can heal, repair harm, and prevent recurrence.
